xbox 360 had way more games in it's arsenal then when resistance came out and the ps3, we all know why that game sold.
It's mediocre, no matter how many players can play at once, which is nothing new looking at pc gaming.
and really didn't do that much on the scale of what gears did for its console.

you have 2 big franchises that are gaurenteed to sell
another on the ps2 sold like 3 million with 120 million users out there
the rest is fluff, not yet proven IP and mediocre games.

gear 1 was the sh4t and now gears 2 will improve on that, i honestly cant say the same for kz1.
kz2 is getting the treatment af 5 year release plus its on new hardware so the difference is apparent..
