I'm guessing that a lot of people will just not go online with their PS3's (in order to avoid the ban) and will use their PS3 to only play single player games.
I never play multiplayer games with my PS3 (I use my Xbox 360 for that) so it wouldn't even really affect someone like me.

I'm gonna buy Fallout 3 (Game of the Year edition) for my PC later today when it goes on sale at Steam.
I rented it for my 360 and played it for around 5 or 6 hours, but now I'm going to buy it and finish the entire game and all of its DLC in glorious 1920x1080.

Another game that looks incredibly good is Need For Speed: Shift.
The cockpit view on that game (with everything maxed out) looks amazing.
It doesn't get nearly enough credit, as far as I'm concerned.
Dirt 2 looks incredible running with all settings maxed at 1920x1080, so I can only imagine what Dirt 3 is going to look like.
If video game journalists want to stop being accused of taking money for positive reviews, they might want to stop giving a game like Madden 11 a 9.5
