This article fails. Almost every first-party title released on the PS2 by Sony sold more than 3 million copies. Which goes back to my other point.
Because you can't sell a $399.99 console to the masses- these games' intended audience. The core gamers will eat it up no doubt.

Not really. I don't think there will be anything better than Blu-Ray when 1080p HD sets aren't even the standard yet. Even so, it will be a much much smaller jump in comparison to DVD to Blu-Ray's, and a minority still complain about how small of a jump that is.
I guess the wii won't be remembered for anything other than being a gimmick.
