The way that I look at it, there are two ways that things like games, movies, and music can be made as, and that is, they can be made either as entertainment, or they can be made as art.

99% of all of these (including music, these days) fall in the entertainment category, meaning that they are mainly created to generate sales, but also to, well.. entertain. I'm definitely no expert on the subject, but I believe that art is not made to entertain, and that it is a completel...

I dislike pretty much any kind of game collection because they never do them right. =\ Just look at the SMB 25th Anniversary collection that Nintendo released. It only consisted of Super Mario All-Stars..

Instead of getting every Kirby game made, like we should (minus the newest releases), we'll probably only just get Kirby Super Star, as well as a couple of the games that were released on the Virtual Console, and then they'll slap a $30-$50 price tag on it.

Huh.. Honestly, I think this looks like it could be alright.

I'm still watching the gameplay, but it sort of seems to have a bit of a 'Halo meets CoD or Battlefield' kind of feel to it, in the shooter segments. But, maybe I'm the only one getting that from it.

I doubt I will ever buy it, but it could actually be fun to play.

Yup, the same exact thing happens to me all the dang time, and it frustrates the hell out of me.

It doesn't matter if I shoot them in the head, stomach, or foot. It doesn't matter if they're right in my face, or if they're 50 feet away. It doesn't matter if they're standing still or moving. Nor does it matter if the game is virtually lag free. Most of the time, it literally takes 2 or 3 times the amount of shots in order for me to kill somebody, and a ...

For anyone that enjoys roguelikes and dungeon crawlers, or is looking to get into them, I really recommend this game. It may not be perfect, but it does so many things right and it's a heck of a lot of fun to play. The music is pretty epic too.

This and DoomRL are my new favorite roguelikes. =P

And speaking of Doom..

This is just completely awful. =\ She's getting worse and worse every time they "improve" her.

I'd rather not have every multiplayer game consist solely of a "horde mode". =P While it can be fun, it doesn't take too long for it to get old, and should pretty much only be used alongside other game types. At least, that's what I think.

Whenever I purchase Mass Effect 3, yea, I'll probably play the heck out of the multiplayer, but with that being the only online game type, it's pretty limiting. They definitely did a good job with what is there...

I saw some videos of this game before and it looked sweet. I really love the art-style.

It'd be pretty awesome to see this on Steam.

I've never actually played Eve yet, but in a lot of ways it seems like it would be pretty exciting.

"...as the players travels in a linear line from zone to zone"

I think it's pretty self explanatory. MMORPGs are usually extremely linear in the way they play out.

- Player starts at Area A; does all quests there, leaves to Area B
- Does all the quests at B, leaves to C
- Does all the quests at C, leaves to D
(Occasionally you'll get a quest to go from, say, Area A to Area B, and then back to Area A)

If you don't see that they're ruining their games then you must be a blind follower, or part of their target audience.

BioWare has changed a lot from how they used to be. Would you really want them making another Baldur's Gate? Look at what they did with Dragon Age 2, which the first was similar in ways to something like Baldur's Gate. They ended up turning something awesome into a completely different game. Not only did they ruin what Dragon Age was, they wer...

MGO was alright, but the game played nothing like a tactical shooter, and really wasn't any different than your typical deathmatch style game. Not to mention that people never worked as a team online, no one used any sort of strategy, and almost all of the matches had that stupid auto-aim enabled, which every single person used.

Like what LightofDarkness said just down below; games like Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, and ARMA are tactical shooters. Not Killzone, not MGO, not M...

This game looks really freaking awesome. I'm more interested in this than most of the AAA games that we get.

Even thought it's mainly just corridors, it would be nice to have a free look camera, as well as free movement up until you encounter enemies, like with Wizardry 8. At least a toggle between two modes would be nice.

Well, they could always scale it down. I mean, I would definitely be fine with that as long as it was still fun.

Hopefully there's a good chance that they'll release it on PS4. It's an MMO based game, so support shouldn't be dead for the game by then. At least I hope not, haha.

Yup, me too.. It really doesn't make any sense to me that it isn't.

I love it.

To me, it's still one of the best games out there, and my favorite Zelda game. I don't know how anybody could dislike such a fun and interesting game.

This looks really interesting. I'm definitely keeping my eye on it.

I think Jagex is pretty awesome, but 8Realms is awful. =\ I don't even consider something like this to be a game. It's just garbage like all of those Facebook "games" that are out there. They're quickly made, and the only reason they exist is for the developer to try to gather money.

I don't even understand how people can play these "strategy games". There is absolutely zero fun to be had. =\

Support for a gamepad would make this game even more fun.

I haven't attempted it yet, but you could try setting it up with Xpadder. Maybe with enough tinkering around it could be possible to come up with something decent.
