I just played through this on the PC after seeing it here, and I liked it. It was pretty decent, but hopefully it will get some more to it at some point.

The world is pretty small, it's just the size of one map. It's not awful or anything, but it is a drawback to the game. It cuts back drastically on the exploration aspect, and in the future (if they add the adventure update) there isn't a whole lot of room to generate NPC villages, ravines, strongholds, abandoned mineshafts, rivers, mountains, and swamps.

I get that it is limited by the ram and that smaller worlds are necessary because of that (I was just annoyed ...

Well, I actually did not mean that about this Lionhead game. I figured that would have been pretty obvious.

I just meant that, in general, it could be pretty awesome to have some MMO between the two systems during the next gen. It's something I'm hoping to see one day, as long as it wasn't another WoW clone.

There's only a handful of decent MMOs on the PC as it is. An actual good one on console isn't very likely.

But, I do agree. I would love to have a fun MMO to play on Xbox and/or Playstation. Something built just for the console. A cross-platform MMO between Xbox and Playstation would also be pretty dang cool to have.

The combat in Dragon Age 2 sucked. Dragon Age Origins did it right, and Bioware was completely retarded to change it how they did. If they don't take it back to that same style as the first game, Dragon Age 3 will be a no buy for me.

I really don't think Dragon Age 2 did anything better, either. The game was just a rushed piece of garbage, aimed at those that don't even actually care about games. No real effort was put into it. No passion. The game was a huge step...

Minecraft is fantastic. There isn't a single real reason for someone to hate the game.

I'm guessing that you're either;
A) Extremely lacking in creativity
B) Jealous of Mojang's success
C) Someone that hates something just because it's popular
D) A Terraria fanboy (do they even exist?)
E) Someone that doesn't know what fun is

Which one is it, I wonder?

I'm not that big of a fan of most limited editions. They're rarely ever worth buying, and this one seems like it may only be worth it if you would normally be buying all of the map packs to begin with.

Other than the map packs, possible metal case, and the live action short films (that will be free to watch on Waypoint and Youtube) the rest of it is mostly pretty unimportant, unless you want a couple meh in-game skins as well as items for your avatar that should have ...

"Why Hardcore Elder Scrolls Fans Won't Enjoy The Elder Scrolls Online"

Because it's not the Elder Scrolls.

Or perhaps a film called: Ghost Strap-on.

That definitely has to be one of the worst things I've ever watched.. And this is going to be for another retarded "reality" show? Ugh, I really hate this world.

My extremely crappy 2.21GHz AMD Athlon 64 with 2GB Ram and a might-as-well-be-garbage Geforce FX 5200 can run this game, so there is absolutely no reason for the console version to be limited in any way.

- Can only play online with Xbox Live friends
- Multiplayer supports far less players than the PC version
- Split-screen is only usable with an HDTV?! (Read this on Wikipedia)
- World size is incredibly small

I don't really unders...

Subscription-based or not, it doesn't matter to me. Odds are I won't be playing it either way.

I think the better business decision would be go to either the 'buy once and play forever' route, or as a "free to play" game. They need something to give them an edge over the over-priced subscriptions that World of Warcraft and The Old Republic requires.

I wouldn't expect anything more than around 2-3 hours for each campaign. The only way Capcom would know how to extend the game beyond that would be to throw in numerous awesome rock-punching quick-time events.

I definitely saw this coming, though, and I am a bit interested. I bet that Leon's part will be the best and most fun to play, but shortest. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Capcom only put this in as a campaign just so they can say that they're "t...

Another dull WoW clone that claims it's something new and different.

I haven't played The Witcher 2 yet, but I have the first and have played that some, but not a lot. To be honest, I really don't care for how the combat is set up in the game; Click to attack, wait a second, attack again for a combo-hit kind of thing, repeat. I'm sure it gets a bit more fun as you go on, but I just don't like that style over the combat style in the Elder Scrolls games. It's just my opinion, but I think that The Witcher would have been a whole lot better if ...

Most of the blame for all of these WoW clones is pretty misplaced. It's wrong for developers to be lazy and greedy and take the easy way out instead of trying to create something actually interesting, but really the players themselves are the biggest reason that developers aren't making anything different, and that doesn't just apply to MMOs, either. Most games are made with non-gamers in mind, because, ironically, they are the majority. So, if the majority of the players enjoy pl...

Would have been a lot more fun, too.

I really hope that it does. We didn't get enough of it in the previous Halo games, if you ask me. Games are just as capable of delivering stories with those "wow..." moments as a good book or movie is, yet for some reason game devs and the writers don't seem to go there very often, and it sucks.

I'm not sure if it's ever been attempted, but, one day I would like to see a new game made in the same sort of way a great show would be, along with the fant...

Grim Dawn could be pretty great, and I hope that it will be.

Anyone who enjoys games like Diablo should seriously check out Sacred if they haven't yet. It's definitely not a new game, but I think it's pretty kick ass. Had a lot of fun playing that through lan with friends, and we still go back to it once in a while.

I really liked this game, and I put this as one of my favorite games on the GameCube.

This game was basically built just for co-op, with the feature to switch between the two characters at will. All they needed to do was add in support for a second controller, have it go into split-screen when you're not together, and it would have made the game even better than it already was.

If you ask me, we need Resident Evil games to be done in this style again, but...

Programmers, "art designers"/3D modelers aren't really artists, not in the real sense of the word. I mean, they themselves could possibly be an artist, but they aren't one based on creating engines, sprites or models for a game. That's design. In few cases, the music composed for some games is art though, and in even fewer cases, the story of a game could be considered art as well. But games as a whole, for almost every single one out there, are just not art.
