I love the music, but that's about it. I don't like the art style and the graphics are just average. I'm sure the gameplay will be good though (it's level 5 after all; just like Blizzard or Valve, you know they always deliver). I just hope the story wont the same "whinny teenager has to save the world with his friends" crap. Oh, and it has multiplayer, so wait and see.
It's still selling because Sony refuses to "kill" it. Once they decide to make the PS3 backwards compatible, the PS2 will start dieing slowly...
The 360 appeals to gamers, hardcore gamers, while the PS3 appeals to everyone (gamers, geeks, tech freaks...) except the casuals.
As far as the HD market keeps growing, the PS3 will be just fine. Every one I know that upgraded to HD either bought a PS3 and a 360 (yeah, that's me) or just bought a PS3.

Does that mean you don't own a "Next-Gen" console? If you only care about gameplay then you should own a Wii/PS2 or the Atari 2600. I think you're a little bit hypocrite; many of us bought a PS360 (and a HD TV) for graphics and gameplay, not just gameplay, both are equally important.
