PS5, then Switch Pro, maybe Series X, PC from day One

@AngelicIceDiamond Arrow simulator won't release before 2-3 or even 4 years. Microsoft could cancel it at any moment like Scalebound or Fable 5v1.

3-6 million for a game free on Gamepass?? 3-6 million download maybe with a nice graphics that show how many million hours played or how many billion "Greg" killed. Also Ghost of Tsushima a new IP PS4 exclusive sold at 60$ sold 2.3 million in 3 day. 3-6 million in one year for a Halo game released on 3 platform is really low.

There is no well reviewed single player 343i made Halo campain till now and Halo multiplayer will be forgotten once the next good call of duty release or if a new popular battle royale or cool multiplayer mode game release. In 2 years, nobody on PC gonna remember Halo Infinite even exist. Cross play betwen Xbox and PC gonna make console player rage quit because of K&M. No crystal ball needed to see the disaster coming.

PS5 gonna be the fastest 100M console sold in history. With the huge PS4 library playable plus the steady quality AAA titles year after years that Sony is know for, you have a recipe for sucess!

16K 480fps graphics confirmed on Series X day one? I mean he says "no longer defined by technology". What else could it mean?

The game is on PC, so it will be scalable. The game will be on Xbox One, so the power argument is invalid. If the game needed to be in 4k to trully incarnate their artistic vision, why is it on Xbox One then? Also, do they really have a PS5 devkit if they have no intention to release a PS5 game? If not, is Phil Spencer convinced them Series X will be better without checking out with Sony before accepting the Gamepass check?

I have the same opinion. The 23rd event was a Gamepass event, not a Series X event. They had to say it was about Series X because nobody would have show up for a Gamepass only event. Most of the games presented were either in preproduction or releasing before Series X. Halo Infinite is not ready for launch ( no ray-tracing for example ) and they didn't annonced anything concrete for 2021 like Sony did. Their marketing before the show was about Series X power, but now it's "All th...

The pandemic is only since March. 343i only games is Halo and Halo 5 released in 2015 meaning Halo Infinite is in development since at least 2015. They had 5 years to develop the game and only 5 months of that was during the pandemic. Microsoft Team make working from home super easy. They lost probably 2-3 week max to the pandemic. The rest is just excuses.

The best part:

"I can’t wait for the world to see what we’ve been working on. It’ll be so cathartic for everyone to see the hard work we’ve been doing all this time. I want to give Halo fans the chance to come back to that feeling, a feeling that I’ve been waiting for too."

Cathartic it is... for Sony Fan. Is disapointed the feeling he is talking about?

This game should have been free to play day one. It's a no brainer. Even more so if there is a battlepass and microtransaction day one. Lesson learned the hard way for the develloper: never trust greedy EA.

Let's see if they found a "magical" way to port the game to PS5 when sales on the Series X is extremly low and they need more money to make their next game.

The game is releasing on Xbox One and PC, so the "Power" argument is invalid.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Xbot being sore for bad Halo Infinite graphics is Microsoft fault. Please stop being racist and admit Miles Morales will look and play 200% better at launch than Halo after months of patch.

Insomniacs > 343i in every aspect. Don't forget they are also making the game Ratchet & Clank at the same time. Ha Ha Ha some more!

The ultimate trolling on Sony part would be starting the rumored PS5 August event with gameplay of Miles Morales played on an actual PS5 with ray tracing enabled. That would be hillarious!

Seen the graphics of Halo Infinite, it look like they literally took the past and brought it into the present.

Using Covid as an excuse for a game in development since at least 2015 is just wrong. They lost at best 2-3 week to adjust, Microsoft Team make working from home super easy more so for a SOFTWARE company. Everything is already in the clouds anyway. I hope they don't work on local copy of codes, but that would make sens seeing how downgraded the graphics were vs Halo 5.

Ray tracing after release tell me THE badge ( optimized for Series X ) is just marketing. Isn't ray tracing a feature 343i should be optimizing the game on before launch for THE badge to be true?
