I think every great game deserves a clean up and remake atleast 10 yrs apart from its first appearance the only thing that makes it not as simmering, is for our time it was top notch 3D that blew us away, so it wont feel quite as you unique but it gives this New generation of kiddies a real dose of a great game, then they can talk about it amongst and with us.

You know Ive never understood MS's strategy on this stuff, MS always wants to present first, which to me, makes you forget them fast, but then again if they went 2nd or 3rd, they make look lame in comparison. Im curious why they chose to go first everytime??? Thoughts?

I dont agree, the deal is generations typically go 5 yrs, with the economy like it is, I would say 7 yrs is being more realistic now, just because SONY supports THEIR product 10yrs doesnt make this gen a 10 yr cycle.

A it cost more to invest in these systems therefore pride goes up
B I bet more people own multiple consoles this gen and do need to decide platform choices

Agreed XboxLive is a better service, what MS doesnt account is because of their price, that has to be factored that PSN is free regardless of what they offer.

SONY was about 2 years behind xbox in terms of understanding what online meant to gamers and how to make it fluid they are still playing catch up, but when they get there, expect fees to start, hopefully they are more reasonable than live.
