then SE games will be off my radar for good. I have no problem with SE trying to expand their audience, just not at the expense of their games actually being enjoyable to the existing fanbase. There will always be other developers out there making quality titles.

I have similar concerns about 3D viewing. After all, everyone has only 1 pair of eyes. Still wondering how long is "prolonged viewing" though. Unless there are a built-in timers with 3D function, people will probably go over the safety limit without even realizing it.
I've asked that question to myself countless times...after the transactions...
Not sure if there are any studies out there on negative effects from 3D viewing. Headache and eye strain seem to affect some people is what I've heard. Will have to wait and see.
A pair of 3D glasses cost around $200. Even if I just wanted to watch sports in 3D with a couple buddies, $600 right there. Not to mention that I'm already wearing corrective lens as is (not contacts).
I like what MS has done aesthetically for the new model. Its reliability will now be the deciding factor of me on getting one.
Don't think Sony would release PS4 that soon since more and more developers are adapting to the PS3. Not likely for MS & Nintendo either due to their current install base.
Better to just let their products do the talking, since my console doesn't play PR stuff.
