That has nothing to do with the intellect of the author, but the fact that readers care little for FACTS. Businesses need to be run with some form of credibility, otherwise we justify things like sweatshops with inhumane conditions. You cannot just say "that's business"...
This is one of my biggest pet peeves about this industry. Credibility means nothing to the majority of the gaming audience, the ability for shoddy gaming sites to successfully use hyperbole or blatant lies is heartbreaking.

Agreed, while we have seen deals on PSN and XBL, they still haven't been nearly as competitive as online retailers.
