"Procedural Synthesis" is something that would have to be part of the design of a game from the initial period. Square will not redo all the graphics/programming of the game over just to keep the graphical quality similar on both platforms. This 360 port would take years. Not to mentioned how much of a pain in the arse Procedural Synthesis is.

9 of the 10 will be on the PS3, and the only one that will not be is a PC exclusive. That is pretty impressive, exclusive or not.
And ff13 is partially exclusive, so really it is more like 4.5 PS3 exclusives...
With the exception of a PC exclusive title, the top ten are all going to be available to PS3 owners.
The quality of the PS3 lineup is fairly obvious at this point, and there isn't much of any competition in sight that can compete with such a lineup.

The same thing can be said about the 360 fans who no longer care about the countless titles that jumped on to the PS3. The most notable being the game of the year Bioshock. Suddenly no one is a huge fan of that game.

Versus is the Final Fantasy game I've been waiting for since FF8. It is probably one of the titles I am most looking forward to. In fact only Uncharted 2 and God of War 3 might be ahead of it on my list.

If true, I'll have to try to find room to add this to the constant growing list of PS3 games to buy. Dead Rising 1 had some fun moments, but there were a lot of kinks that could have been adjusted.
