I have no intention of robbing it of it's deserved credit. In this case it doesn't deserve the credit. On the other hand, people like this joke of a developer steal credit from the actual pioneers and give it to games that don't deserve it.
You can spin it any way you want to, but Halo did not start regenerative health. Plain and simple.
You would have to be joking to think Golden Eye didn't revolutionize the FPS console field well before Halo.
The first instance of regenerative health was not Halo, it was "Wolverine Adamantium Rage (Genesis, SNES; 1994)".
And WTF!! How did Halo bring FPS to the consoles, did anyone forget the major success of "GoldenEye 007".
This guy is the biggest hack in the history of gaming.
Who cares what he thinks? Why don't they ask someone who would know something about good games?
Wow, that would be incredible. Not even just the looks, but the mechanics also.
Seeing as ICE Team is headquartered within Naughty Dog, don't be shocked if they didn't have some sort of input into InFamous, or if they do in the future.
Edit: It appears Sucker Punch Productions was thanked in the U2 credits... so again there is some truth to this.
It's no Uncharted 2, that's for sure.
MGR you are the single biggest moron who has ever logged on to this website.
Nowhere does ND hate on the competition at all in that article, that is all the blog writers opinion. It's a simple matter of game design, in which you know nothing about. For an animator to reproduce what ND has done with animation blending it would take years. That's the whole point of blending, you are given free animations thanks to some handy work from the programmers, and many of them. Even a ND an...
MS doesn't have to sell more to claim that they did. Look at Europe, they have been behind for so long, yet they still claim to be ahead. It's sad, but people buy it so why should they stop?
A positive PS3 article on Kotaku?
Did they take their usual jab that has to follow anything positive about the PS3?
Yup, they sure did. First they mention how the PS3 version was supposedly delayed, and then they bag on Home. Kotaku is so predictable it isn't even funny any more.
I remember the 360 version being plagued with major issues. I once had a duplicate version of me that followed me around, whenever I would attack he would slash me in the back. It was pathetic. Then I fell through the terrain. This is when I sold the game.
I'll stick with XP.
Dear Microsoft, stop screwing your customers by making multiple versions of a product, and taking core functions out of your lower end. I mean, they put all three versions on the disc anyway, they just choose to screw you.
I thought it was sarcasm, but the writer actually is that delusional. Microsoft are masters of brainwash, and there are many who are easily fooled, that Microsoft takes advantage of.
To answer my own question, no major spoilers.
I didn't read the comments though, since I expect there would be spoilers in there.
Are there any major spoilers in this blog? I haven't had the time to finish U2 yet, but I'd like to read this.
Thanks!
I know they will have more variance this time around, but I'm still hesistent to pick this one up. I probably will end up getting it, but not before giving it a spin.
This should be good, Trivium would fit the feel of GOW fairly well.
I could be wrong, but I remember hearing that Uncharted 2 has abandoned that.
"The game was not downgraded the developers showed off PC target renders and when they showed FF13 on PS3 hardware you chose to blame the smoke and mirrors on the 360."
Where are these public PC target renders showing gameplay? I've never seen them. I'm strictly going by the game running on the PS3 hardware updated directly through target manager, no smoke and mirrors there kiddo, and definitely not on the PC.
I am not surprised that a person that makes as ...
I don't think it is possible to show someone a link that would describe what they are thinking. Do you want me to start a blog and cover my every thought for you? That seems a bit creepy. You might need a hobby.
As for your silly claim, you wouldn't have taken so much offence from what I stated if the game wasn't an exclusive. Hypocrisy is a silly thing.
If you are amazed by FF13, what do you think will be the result of the mastermind behind the soul of the franchise...
You guys have not stated anything that discredits the fact that this game is downgraded from the time it was PS3-only.
This might shock you guys, but what is shown in trailers doesn't paint the full story. From what I have been shown early on in the lifecycle of this product, I can state without a shadow of a doubt that this game has been gutted to run on the 360. Since Square is aiming to make both versions similar at all costs, the PS3 version has suffered.
Don't a...
It can't come to the PS3 without the original. It's kind of hard to play DLC without a game.
