That stage demo was prerecorded. You could watch the guy struggling to try an follow the animations he was supposed to be doing. The Forza demo was completely fake.

Joe Danger, Fat Princess, Pain, Wipeout HD, Warhawk, Trash Panic, Battlefield 1943, Trine, Braid, and Flower are all full, robust games that are more than worth the money. And those are the ones just off the top of my head. I'll play the DeathSpank demo and let you know how meaty it is.
