In the US, only people seem to conveniently forget there's a world outside the US and Playstation dominated world wide in October and every other month for that matter.

Because Just Cause is not a "shooter", its an open world action-adventure game and yes there is shooting but its not the focus of the game, there is a lot of ways to destroy the environment and take out NPC's without using guns.
The Last Guardian is an exception though, people who know anything about Team Ico know they game has a ton of potential, that's why Playstation fans are so excited and why xbox fanboys fear it so much and hate on it so hard.

Apparently you missed the fact PS4 was in the same top five list, of course its the better product, PS4 has much more to offer it makes sense it's on the top list of many shoppers. See wee can play the hyperbole card too.
