@ Gaming_Cousin
The average consumer does not have a superpowered 4k gaming PC either. Even I who is an avid gamer don't have that kind of a rig at the moment.
While I agree to everything you said, what would stop Sony from dictating everything from game prices, delaying the introduction of new consoles, etc. They won't be compelled to up their game anymore because they would've monopolized the market with nary a competitor in sight.
If true, who is Sony going to compete against if Xbox is no more? Certainly not Nintendo since they dance to their own beat. If there isn't a healthy competition for Sony, wouldn't the console industry as we now enjoy it...stagnate?
If Sony cornered the market and leave console fans without an alternative, what's gonna happen then?
Just a couple of humble questions from my part guys.
@ jessionpc
"Neo is designed to be a 1080p 60 fps console".
"Scorpio is designed to be a 4k 30 fps console".
I will try to wrap my head around these. You don't make sense! I like how you downplay one and up the other though... no not really.
I agree; that's why I'm getting both. Now who's going to stop me?
This ^^^ spot on. Too funny.
That's exactly how I understood it. Anyways, day 1 for both PSVR and Scorpio for me. I got to have them all.
@ ThyMasterDebater:
"Microsoft - First one to start time exclusivity"
Seriously? Didn't Sony had a 2 year exclusivity deal for GTA III on the PS2? Is it selective memory or you weren't born yet?
Dantesparda or PancitCanton perhaps? Or you can lump them all together, your choice.
You spew the word "mad" at everyone--you sound bitter with an axe to grind. What is it to you that the Xbox is the way it is or it will be?
@ Antnee534, while I agree that all racing games should be 60 fps minimum, both Driveclub and Forza Horizon 2 played great and did just fine with 30 fps.
Forza Horizon 2 did not need 60 fps for it to shine, but shine it did with its awesome gameplay, variety, and stable fps.
Cool story!
While I both play and love GT and Forza and each have something to give to their respective fans, labeling one as a true racing sim and the other as arcadey is utter trash.
They are both semi sims in my book with Forza getting the edge in the end. The haptic feedback felt through your steering wheel based on what the tires and suspension are doing at that moment is impressive in Forza.
iRacing, Project Cars, Assetto Corsa are the real racing sims! The...
A high production TV series ala Galactica will be more epic.
I wish they add an unrestricted track creator. Imagine trying to replicate the best corners in all of racing and put them all together in one single track.
As a an actual COD fan, I bought Black Ops 3 but I stopped playing because it is trash. This game and AC Unity are the only games I regret buying digitally.
Agreed. I still have my original Xbox's Crimson Skies, Chaos Theory, Fusion Frenzy, and Advent Rising. I just don't have the console anymore.
Add Splinter Blacklist and Race Pro please.
In my own humble opinion and if it were up to me, I'll prioritize it like the list below. But then again what do I know, I'm no developer.
1. FPS/A.I./Gameplay
2. Story
3. Level design
3. Art Design
4. Graphical resolution
It is the best arcade racer for me up to this point. I just hope that the map is twice as large this time. I also hope that they include F1 cars. Who doesn't want to zoom through from festival to festival in an F1 racer?
