Everyone has different taste at the end of the day, can't always trust reviews. Same with films. Also anything 7 or above is classed as positive, dunno why people get their knickers in a twist when that happens.
Already have my 1080Ti on eBay, my 980Ti does me fine at 1440p with the games i play for now even at high hz.
Looking forward to seeing what the 2080Ti/1180Ti is like.
Love how some people think 7.0 score is bad even though that's good and above average, even popular films are ranked in the 7.x range on sites like IMDB.
End of the day you play/watch what you enjoy, not what critics basically TELL you to enjoy. Don't be a sheep.
Nevermind, at least Valve are going to continue making games.. Even though the new one is just a card game.
Lets hope we get some FPS titles we want soon..
Has anyone noticed graphics have improved a lot in tech demos. But when it comes to physics and stuff, it's been pretty much the same since they had Havok in Half Life 2.
Would be nice if we could alter landscape, have realistic flowing water that can flood areas, fire spread etc.. I know games can already have those but AFAIK it's scripted.
You know how pathetic and childish the internet can be with stupid things like memes, nothing surprises me anymore.
Anime can be a like it or hate it type thing due to most having fanservice i guess.
It can tend to seem a bit unusual when the style looks quite kiddish, yet the show itself has quite a bit of sexual content. Bit like the early episodes of Dragon Ball (as a quick example) i suppose.
Rainslacker i agree, i prefer American Dad a bit better than Family Guy myself, don't know why though. I kind of enjoy Futurama as well, or used to, but i think it did a b...
It's ridiculous what some people complain about, i could have bought a 4k monitor for my PC, but i went 2560 x 1440 165hz Gsync instead for the much smoother performance. It's all about choices. Switch does decently for a portable machine you can play anywhere, of course it's gonna have a some downgrades in visuals.
Yeah, the repeated often unfunny jokes get a bit stale. Some of it can be funny tho.
I think South Park is better written personally. Rather watch that or The Simpsons, or anime which goes above all western shows in violence and mature content.
A mid gen upgrade would be fine if it's a good boost for the overall system. Never been all that interested in small upgrades like the new 3DS.
This is rather funny, at least when we have anime with underage chracters in sexual situations classified at 15/18, and the odd few at 12 ratings with some fan service.
Makes you think.. There's at least a couple of highly sexualised games classified at 16 by PEGI too.
If i want super smooth frame rates and quality i game on my PC, for a portable device the games on Switch still look good, and it beats trying to game on a phone.
They could do better than a minor revision, they should do more of a bigger mid gen upgrade like the main consoles.
Still prefer Pierce Brosnan as Bond compared to the current one, though maybe because i played so much of this game.. And the current Bond has a more rough face more suitable as a villain.
Gsync is better because of the wider hz range it can work at, it really does help rid tearing at lower fps, but it's no substitute for ultra silky smooth 90-100+fps frame rates. High fps greatly lowers tearing, but both high hz and variable sync = amazingly smooth overall.
Still don't get what all the fuss is about with Smash.. Then again i don't like Pokemon either.
Horses for courses i guess.
Stop young kids getting the games from their parents, this is one of the biggest problems.
You don't give them horror films or 15/18 rated anime full of nudity, or hentai.. Why violent games then?
Eh? I thought the ending of HL2 was too easy, but there were certainly parts that had a bit of challenge.. There are different difficulties you know.
Hoping for L4D3, right now they have a sodding card game.. Kaiba Corp would be disappointed.
Lol i remember getting Luigi's Mansion for 3DS from Argos, it was actually cheaper than in GAME which was just a short walk from it in the same shopping centre.
