Forza Horizon 3. Emotionally moved? No. But that game gripped me like few this generation and had me thinking about it everytime i wasnt playing. I was compelled to 100% it... and to be fair racing games are NOT my thing.
I guess anything that keeps people away from playing the actual game for as long as possible (like writing an essey) is a step in the right direction, right?

Might have something to do with Sony having marketing rights for it. But thats sorta been the narrative since the X launched anyway. Its expected to be the best in terms of performance, not such a fresh take for MS to latch onto.
Yeah an alert will pop up saying you dont own the game and ask you to either insert the disc or buy a digital copy.

Im 100% with you on this, I actually came to make an almost identical comment. Still so much to come out but right now GoW is a very close 2nd to MHW for me. The reason is after finishing GoW i had no urge to back to it, as excellent as it was... but i put over 250hrs into MHW and for such a niche series, what it accomplished in mainstream success should not be understated. MTE, by the time infinate launches we'll be saying "do u remember when people were REALLY into BattleRoyal for a couple years?" Fortnight will take a dip by years end as casuals who only play because of word of mouth start to move on the other releases. Im not saying everyone will just stop but i exoect a sharp decline by early next year, maybe even for the big holiday releases this year.
It was one of my most hyped about games going into e3... i came away feeling empty. My biggest disappointment of E3 2018. Looks like an open world walking sim.
