They threw everything they had into that demo, as do most companies for E3. I wouldn't be surprised if other levels aren't as fully fleshed out.
Conversation.. interesting. Killphrases?
Not a popular opinion, but a valid one. I didn't enjoy the gameplay either. I don't care how good the story is, the gameplay needs to be there, first and foremost.
zzz
Good. He's overused.
Hah the scramble and roll from the last game is back.
As much as people don't want to admit it, it's games like this (and porn) that will drive the sales of VR through the roof.
Awesome.
Looks good. The characters and environments are definetely a step up from the previous game. Let's hope they invested more time into character animations. The ones in HR were god awful.
I feel like this is going to be Elite Dangerous all over again. A massive universe of recycled spaceports and star systems, with no story missions or characters. The only real incentive to keep playing was to buy the next better ship. Sky has the novelty of procedurally generated planets, but I think even this will grow old fast once you've landed on your 50th planet, looking at the same recycled art assets, realizing that none of this was built by hand.
The show closing presentation, and you don't go to rehearsals for it. Smart.
Ubi Singapore headed up Black Flag. This is Ubi Quebec, and it's their first time leading an AC. So we'll see how they do their first time around.
Oh come on. Yeah they showed what they had. But don't think for one second they didn't try and pretty it up as much as they could.
This is it for me. No other games matter now.
Fool me once...
Awesome.
Del Toro really can't get a break, can he. At the Mountains of Madness, and now this.
Another Square Enix trailer that delivers. Reminds me of the E3 reveal trailer for the first one. Though there ended up being a big gap in quality between the trailer and the actual in-game graphics, so I'm cautiously optimstic about this one.
Far from it, gameplay had some major problems. And the game wasn't much fun.
Leveling in a linear shooter can work great if done right. I really enjoyed the way Wolfenstein The New Order handled it.
