The best thing about it is they have kept it permanently now.
I am guessing if this rumour is true MS must have paid millions considering the way the console sales are going because they would have to pay the difference of what ps4 would sell.
Maybe your "friends" should be smart and get the better ps4 versions as well then.
That's all long forgotten or flat out denied now that the xbone can't keep up, it's amazing how fast res and fps started to not matter once everyone found out pretty much every game on the ps4 plays better. Yet just a few months ago the 360 having 20p extra and 4fps more made it the definitive must own version of games.

It's not the esram that is the problem it's the gpu and ram, because of the tiny amount of ram the games using gpu compute (which is becoming more used all the time) the xbone won't be able to keep up and it's one of the ps4s strengths so it will get wider as more games rely on it.
Maybe read what was said by abriael above, it's none of your suggestions, it seems it will be an internal change and might reduce costs to manufacture.
It's just the high hopes of the xbone crowd they seem to go into a blank mind frenzy when they read a title and jump so far to a conclusion that they fall off.

Well I gave it a 7 so only 1 point off , yet people where convinced I didn't play it because I didn't say it was the best game ever.
Well luckily xbone owners haven't had the chance to get used to 60 fps then.
The only thing that's a master piece is the scissor work on the cardboard cut out audience, I have looked really close even zoomed in and I can barely see the wibbly lines from the scissors.

I mean I am 33 now and I wouldn't have wanted to play something that old when I was old enough to play games properly to enjoy them. Having ps+ is nothing to do with it , it's the fact that he doesn't need it to still play those games Is what matters.

Just ignore him lukas , the guys user name has old in it yet the only cover shooter he knows of is gears of war, I'm guessing he started gaming on xbox 360 for the first time so was born in the 90s.
