I think phones and tablet gaming will only impact a certain (casual) audience.

I haven't touched my PS3 in sometime as well due to SWTOR...it's just sooo addicting.
It's only delayed a few days...probably to ensure people up their subscription after the free month is up to play it :) Regardless, I'm no where close to the end anyway.
Meh. Think I will just wait till Windows 8 tablets come out. Will be nice to have a proper OS on a tablet.

I enjoy both PC and console. Honestly been buying more stuff on PC lately though. With all the next gen talk it makes me question the backwards compatibility of next gen hardware. I hope Sony/MS realize the importance of it because I know there are a lot of people like me that will sell current hardware to offset the cost of something new. I'm confident the next Xbox will have bw compatibility because Xbox is basically a PC but PS3 is a bit of different beast. If Sony go with a different ...
I'll subscribe till I'm bored of the game. I'm currently lvl 38 so still a bit to go till 50. Enjoying the game a lot tbh though. Author says he enjoys the game and has a good time but won't re-up? Er ok...it's only $15 per month...

Well if new hardware is announced I don't see why it can't be on both. Many games were on both PS2/PS3 e.g. FIFA and others. All they need to do is scale the engine accordingly. PC games look a lot better than there console counterparts. How do you think this is achieved?

I'd prefer the free approach but I can understand the reasoning behind subscriptions...bandwidth/serv er upkeep isn't free and it certainly isn't cheap. $15 a month isn't too bad if you get a lot of pleasure and time out of playing the game. Personally enjoying SWTOR and will gladly pay $15 a month to continue to play it.
