While halo 3 was reported to have cost Microsoft 60 million dollars for halo 3 , 30 million was spent on marketing and the other 30 was spent on actual game development
so ya , a console RTS beat out the most expensive shooter of all time

So what is killzone's excuse since it is by far the biggest hyped playstation 3 game in history and cant even break half of what gears did?

sony cant afford a price cut
if they cut price they would be losing even more money then they are losing now (which is alot)
Microsoft on the otherhand has been making alot of money on the 360 for about a good 6 months. If they decided to kick sony in the teeth one last time by droping price again it would pretty much secure microsoft as the leading hardcore gaming system of the generation for years to come.
