@Nix
Very true! I totally forgot about yakuza 4
@sethry101
I think they shoehorn multiplayer as a way of curbing trade-ins for as long as possible
It will definitely draw comparisons. Seems heavily influenced. Three playable chars, open world, humorous social commentary.
This game has big shoes to fill
Iku iku iku iku ikuuuuu!!
Id say midi songs are also easier to become familiar with. It was more simple.
In modern game music, youre seeing many layers and instruments involved and more elaborate pieces. As oposed to a 1minute track on repeat for the entire stage (eg. Any old school mega man game)
I was expecting a Q2 release.
Cant wait!
Exactly. Thank you!
Agreed. I cant see the graphics taking a drastic dive in quality.
Graphics were never a staple/selling point for this series to begin with. Its more about the concept and art design.
That being said, Demon Souls was beautiful for its time!
Yeah. I'm genuinely impressed.
Not to mention the additional discounts on sales. $7 for puppeteer please!
Thank you!
From hearing everyone praise AC4 i decided to give it a go. Considering i have not played an AC game since AC2, i figured this would be a good chance to jump back into the franchise. I felt woefully disappointed as i saw the same mechanics being implemented since AC2! Those same mechanics (listed in the article) even breached their library into FC3 and Watch Dogs.
Dont get me wrong, i loved the story, the writing, the sailing, but all of it seem...
I'll buy whatever those two in the thumbnail are selling!
You can't be positive!!
There is only, I repeat, ONLY negative, flaming, fanboy comments allowed here!!
STOP BEING POSITIVE!!!
Awesome. Looking forward to it!
Along with crisis, FC:BD and a wolf among us. All that for <$30 XD
You never owned a Nintendo console? NES, SNES, N64? Damn man, those were great consoles, I hope you will eventually play some classics via emulators.
OT: I wouldn't blame devs and publishers since they merely provide what consumers 'want'.
Models like DLC and microtrans only exist because consumers continue to support that model by purchasing said items. Not to mention sequelitis!
Considering I OWN the disc, I don't see it as being a big deal
Im also thinking Thief will be on plus by year end or early next year. From my observations, Thief is not generating much hype. Considering it releases in Feb that is not a good sign
Hit the nail on the head there.
Not to mention there being 13 (?) different steam boxes available will confuse your average consumer.
People that frequent this website will be able to research which box suits them, but to the avg person it will be too much to bother with.
Not to mention the history and the brand name behind the big 3 console players
So good..
Thumbs all the way up
It has a lot of promise.
The amount of detail put into the ships is a testament to their resolve.
Crafting an actual galaxy with cohesive gameplay is another story
Got it on ps3 for $15 last year and its been patiently waiting for this day . Cant wait to unbox it
