Personally I prefer the voice acting of the female Shep as male one is so monotonous. But he is good at the badass stuff.
Just finished it as a good character. Is it as good as the first one? No. I thought the first one had a better story and better platforming. This one looks better and the story is good but not as good as the first one. Don't think they built up the menace of the Beast enough. Also the difficulty of some of the fights were a bit too easy. Wow I'm looking forward to this! Mirrors edge is one of my favourites of this gen. Great feel, great look, great soundtrack, thrilling chases. If they refined the combat and made a better story this could be amazing. Please don't turn into a shooter proper though!

i'm not a nintendo fan but even i can see nintendo is going to win e3. New hardware and surprises are what make e3. I may be getting me one of those PS3 tvs though!

I'm tired of FPS games. They are all pretty much the same and lack character development.
I enjoyed Killzone 3 for what it was. Gameplay and graphics were good - just story not so much. Its like an 80s action movie. Having said that Gears of War is the same - yet for some reason it gets praise.

Final Fantasy 13 was beyond poo. Battle system - shocking. Characters- even more shocking, - story - terrible, soundtrack - ok but not as good as previous efforts. No towns.....
I think "Year of Games of the Year" sums up this year. Too many to count. Portal 2 didn't give me the wow factor. It was a well designed game etc.. but i will be trading it in as it has no replay value. Bring on LA Noire, Infamous 2, Batman: Arkham City, Skyrim, Battlefield 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Assassins Creed: Revelations, Uncharted 3, Twisted Metal, Deus Ex, Final Fantasy XIII-2 (bit hopeful as XIII was biggest letdown) - even LBP2 is a contender.

Mass Effect 2! Gears of War is so average. Sure it has some fun co-op action but thats about it. LA Noire also will blow it out the water in terms of cast. They just say this to get some press.
Games can never be art but art can be in games. Thats the way i see it. Take Bioshock the story was amazing but you still had a FPS to play. The FPS gives a gratification aspect which is part of the gaming process. Mixed feelings. Wanted AC3 with new character but this could work as long as the character of Altair is used well. Altair was the thinker and is more interesting than Ezio in a cerebral way. I've always thought Far Cry is good when it makes you feel like a Jack Bauer sort of character.
Far Cry 3, Prey 2 and Uncharted 3 were best of the show i think. And a bit of Skyrim.
