I dont see 4K gaming becoming the standard, next gen...not on AAA games anyway. We waited nearly 10 years only to end up with two console that cant even run battlefield at 1080P AND a steady 60FPS. I expect next gen we will have 1080P everything..60FPS will still NOT be standard...and the only games we see in 4K will be remasters and indie games that are not pushing AAA level graphical features. I picked up shadow of mordor (finally) and the wolfenstine bundle. I liked that deal best of all, because it normally retails for £65...got it for £13.
I have no idea, when I am going to find the time to play them, but I got three solid games, waiting. I still have not even started playing FO4 or TR, or even SSOD. halo 5, FM6, neverwinter,SMITE, FH2 and dragon age via EA access are taking up my game time at the moment. I will start playing TR and FO4 soon though. Xmas...

You obviously have not played halo 5s MP if you think like that. It plays out, faster and smoother than any modern FPS, and it feels better in actual play mechanically. The gunplay is simply betyter than what destiny, BLOPS 3, starw...

All to often, do I hear people play down certain games lack of quality by using the old "teh sales" routine, here on N4G. So what? if a game is crap, I cant force myself to enjoy it just because it sold a million copies. Im not going to brag about a rubbish game selling a million for the sake of console war brownie points. Crap is crap.

When your game is selling exclusively on a console with twice the install base of the other console, its a given that your games will sell more. Even if the game is crap (like the order) there is still a chance of it selling more due to a larger install base...double the install base in the PS4's case. Its a nice cushion..e...
Ori, bloodborne and splatoon were deffo the best new IPs of 2015. The other new IPs were meh at best (looking at the order and until dawn)
Next year though, it seems like every big game is a new IP, with gears, crackdown 3, GT and UC4 being the only established AAA games (im looking forward to owning all four of those).as far as new IP in 2016, Im looking forward to gigantic, recore, scalebound and quantum break on xbox and horizon on PS4.

Ill bet people will be playing it religiously until the next halo. Regardless of what you think of the campaign the MP mode is a clear step forward and is superior to what bungie produced in the past. Even destiny's own crucible mode shows that the MP talent didnt stay with bungie. Halo spanks destiny. Especially in the MP department..its not even a competition. Its a clean kill by 343i/halo 5. Started playing the story mode and its not bad at all. But for sure its not as epic as it could have been. Especially when you consider all the pre game stuff like hunt the truth, that set up some interesting scenarios..but they never materialised in the campaign. Hopefully they will nail this next time round...they already did the impossible, by updating halo's core mechanic...
Ill take one. Will go nicely with my collection of XB1 special edition controllers.
