If I was buying an XB1 today, the first games I would be going after would be

halo 5( I havent given much time to MP on starwars or COD, because warzone simply blows them both out of the water.

Forza 6 and FH2 ( best sim out their, and besta rcade racer out there..nuff said.)

SSOD ( underrated gem, with fantastic art style)

Well the title is a dead give away. common sense should tell you its an opinion piece based on his own personal experience with both. Not sure why people feel so defensive about this. we all have differing tastes.

What an odd question.....DX is an industry standard for PC games. Aside from the fact that sony are not in the PC game business, what makes you think they are capable of designing a competing SDK that works on multipl...

Speaking as somebody who was in the exact same situation last april:

My first impressions where "damn..its nearly as big as the OG xbox" followed by "damn...its REALLY quiet". Its makes the PS4 sound like my dyson or at the very least like my X360.

But after doing that update...sending a few party invites and jokingly being called a "traitor" by my XBL freinds of over 7 years...fired up titanfall as it was the first thing I installed, ...

I would say they are comparable up to a point. Both are open world racers for a start. Fair enough the objectives in each are different but in the end it comes down to point to point racing ion an open world...and FH2 simply does that better. And the car handling in FH2 is leages ahead of the crew. as for variety...well FH2 is not short of things to do, online or offline...whether its straight up racing, road trips with mixed events along the route...racing against planes trains, air ballons ...

Some real gems on the Megadrive ( you guys in the US called it the genesis) check out kid chameleon, DJ boy,golden axe, midnight resistance, MUSHA, gunstar heroes,revenge of shinobi, shinobi 3, The thunderforce games, aerodivers...so many great games on that system. Get yourself a six button controller if you can find one..and the arcade stick!

I would have to try it myself. When I tried the initial demo the cars felt a detached and devoid of feel. Maybe ubi should do a new demo with the update in place. When I tried it, the cars didnt really feel like cars to me. But then I am less forgiving than most about car handling in games. Love the new visuals though. Maybe Ill get it cheap for the PC at some point and have 60FPS thrown in for shits and giggles.

According to the video that is simply not the case. The PS4 version suffers from more tearing and has frame rate dips. according to the video, and the guiy even mentions that was the case before the update. But who REALLY cares? The car handling in this game is awful.

Im trying hard to care...but FH2 makes this game so redundant. I spent 20 mins with the demo before deleting it and jumping back on FH2. I guess Im used to better.
