I dont think this means they're a bad company. You can pump out great titles and still be good at marketing the shitty ones.
GamePass: New Games
PS Now: Good Games
I've found myself having way more fun with the selection on PS Now. Sure, newer games tend to drop on GamePass, but it's rarely the good ones.
While it is a great game, it didn't launch that way. Not Cyberpunk levels of bad, but there were still technical issues.
Most of the reviews are hovering around this mark. Sounds about accurate given what the demo showed us.
Fighting games are the only games I play online. Everything else is single player.
With that said, this series, while I once loved it, has grown stale AF.
This assumes every game designer's preferred art style is "photorealistic". It isnt.
How does this even make sense?
By this logic....Sony, Nintendo, NVIDIA and Microsoft would all be reporting that this is the fastest hardware launches ever for them as well.
It isnt. lol.
I'm much more a Tsushima guy, but I'm happy people enjoyed this game.
Wallets were kind to Days Gone and they're still not making one.
Tsushima is open and rather empty & I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Reception was overwhelmingly positive too.
How hard was it on solo? The demo started kicking my ass pretty early on.
Imagine being able to burn through that much money and still be ok.
Great service, mediocre selection of games.
Fine by me. Forspoken looks AMAZING. Nobody is giving up their chance to play Horizon 2. God of War?
The existing franchises already secured them for the gen.
Considering the plethora of indie content on PSN, that doesnt sound right.
Something about this one doesnt do it for me. I almost always purchase every PS exclusive, but this one misses the mark. Hopefully I'm wrong.
Now Forspoken on the other hand.....THAT game definitely looks like a potential day 1 buy.
I can't think of any game that has gotten unanimous praise. The biggest games like Skyrim, Witcher, FF, TLOU or MGS still have detractors.
Shit, even I only like one of those games. lol.
The games on GamePass are newer.
The games on PSNow are better.
Good games > new games.
It's undoubtedly one of my top favorite games, I played it on Steam. That third-person, story-driven world stigma that PlayStation games have, while true, are games I enjoy thoroughly. So to see MS take a stab at it was exciting.
Such a shame it wasn't embraced, a sequel would've been nice, but at least we got Control which was also amazing.
Makes sense. Most services are good if you have a backlog. PC is my secondary, but I was very disappointed by the GamePass lineup. The games I would've played were only on the actual Xbox console rather than the PC version of GamePass.
If the PC version ends up with some of the console library of games down the line, I may sing a different tune.
