It's like I said above, it's hard to criticise Sony's releases so people are clutching at straws to try and find an issue or downplay the games.
Mgs games w had ridiculously long cutscenes and never heard anyone ever complain about cutscene to gameplay ratio.
I loved mgs longer cutscenes though, I do enjoy a good story hahah so maybe it's just me.

I share your views on the story as a whole and atreus, very on the nose with the whole be better constantly while atreus seems to do the opposite and is still made out to be great. Hated atreus in this one, I'd pay for a game where you play as sindri if you catch my drift.
I have to disagree on the cutscenes part in regards to the games you mentioned. You are talking about 2-3 hrs Max spread put over 50+ hrs of game time.

I feel ps5 had better exclusives and more in the first 2 yrs than ps4.
I'd take ps5s offerings over what I got on ps4.
The one knock I have is that ps4 atleast had genuine next gen titles where as ps5 was almost all cross gen which I hated.

Sounds like ur issue is with the story in general, not how cinematic it is. Also I don't remember there being any over long cutscenes.

There are sequels to the games you listed because the devs wanted to continue those games unlike the ones that were listed earlier that the devs clearly did not want make more sequels for.

Would absolutely would love to see those series return, especially jak, Sodcom and killzone but if none of Sony devs want to make it then its hard to make happen.
And I can't see outsiders asking for a chance on to make but I would love it if they did.

Trust me play it, and if you like multi as well legends is literally one of the best multi add ons ever, took me completely by suprise, last thing I saw myself doing was sinking 100s of hrs just into that portion alone.
But yea really good game, not perfect but a ton of fun.
