That's price i've been expecting since the PS4 buzz started, so i would be more than willing to pay.

It'll be highly unlikely that the PS4 will cost less than $600, the GPU alone cost $450. So this definitely not legit.

Ive purchased 2 1 year subscriptions and used 2 30 day trials and it states that auto-renew is activated when you purchase every time. So if you don't read before you buy and you get "stung", its your own damn vault! Also i really wouldn't say its getting "stung" cause PS+ is worth every penny and then some.
The system looks pretty cool, unfortunately it more than likely will look nothing like that. As far as the controller goes i hope it doesn't look like that, pretty ugly. I personally think the "bat wing" concept controller is perfect. Not only does is look cool, its shape makes sense cause when you close your hand it makes the same shape. IMO it would be a really comfortable controller.
Normally i wouldn't care about the down time, it would be some more time to be trophy hunting on single player modes. That being said Far Cry 3 DLC is out and i can't even download it to play the offline content! This is a true tragedy ;)
I agree with you totally, but they are gonna have to just suck it up and dish out the $ if they want a true next-gen console. I doubt too many Sony consumers would complain about a $600 price tag. I mean how could you complain about a next-gen console being released at the same price as the current one?
Its funny how people are talking about the price, if the PS4 cost more than the 720, do you really think the 720 will be more powerful system? For those that are talking about the 720 being $400 you have to be an idiot if you think you are gonna get a "Next-gen" system for that price. If either system cost less than $600 they aren't worth it.
I don't think this will end up being implemented on the PS4. Not only would that end the use of used games, but it it would also nullify the use of rentals, which would be a tradegy, my beloved GAMEFLY would become obsolete. Not only that,what if a players system had to be replaced? That would mean they would have to re-purchase a new system and all of their games. This would not be smart move.
