Ive personally found the AI doesn't increase with level but with what the entry level in the competition is. For example im level 26 but if i pick a slow car and go to the beginner races the AI i still dumb. But for example if if then compete in the Super GT cup in the last tier then the AI is much better.

Not really. GT5 doesnt have no where near the complexity of F1 2010 when it comes to F1 racing.
F1 2010 has:
All teams in F1
All drivers in F1
All tracks in F1 with dynamic weather on each
The ability to total your car
3 practice sessions
3 qualifying sessions
The ability to change your wing angle and engine mapping.
The ability to damage your wing
The ability to puncture your tyres
Press confrences and In...

The fact is if he played A-Spec only he could have gotten really far by level 20 as you dont level up that fast (compared to doing the special events), you would know that if you actually played the game. A friend of mine is level 14 and has completed 29% of the game which is enough IMO to give a review.

I enjoyed the missions in the MW2 campaign, but the story was stupid.

I remember when they reviewed BFBC2 and gave it a 8.9, main reason for not giving it a 9 was the campaign, yet firstly, no one buys Battlefield for the campaign, and secondly, they gave MW2 over a 9 even though that had one of the most stupid campaigns of all time.
If you want to level up fast do the special events.
GT5 is an amazing game IMO. Yes it does have its flaws e.g weather not being on every track, not all the cars are premium etc etc but when it comes down to it, its an amazing racing game. Im level 19 right now and the game is really starting to pick up as now im racing Super GT cars and such.Most of these reviews who gave it a f+cking 7 are probably still noobs who have not even completed the beginner races and are still level 5.
The game is a 9.4 IMO. 0.6 minus for some of the flaws ...
