Looks like 2008 will be a great year for action lovers on the 360. Ninja Gaiden 2, DMC4, and Too Human. Looking good! :)
Well GOTY has to go to games that average atleast 90%. Halo 3, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Mario, COD4, and maybe Metroid. The ps3 has zero games that averaged over 90% so GOTY for an exclusive ps3 game is out of the question. I know sony fanboys always cry about the ps3 getting harsher ratings but that is just a weak excuse. Halo 3 definitely dominated 2007 with huge sales, fantastic reviews, and huge hype that created the Halo Holiday. Bioshock was praised as one of the greatest games ever ...
It was originally planned that the Elite would only be a limited run but after having such a huge sucess that it will be a permanent sku. Elites are almost impossible to find here in the Bay Area.
Heavenly Sword??? That game is crap. Averaged UNDER 80%. GOTY should be games that average OVER 90% like Halo 3, Bioshock, Mass Effect, COD4.

Heavenly Sword clocked in at 6 hours, crap AI, Crap use of the six axis. Bioshock had atleast double the amount of gameplay and had some of the best AI ever in a game. Heavenly Sword was just a rental. Bioshock was an experience. Bioshock is the reason why I love playing games.

Achievement points is a fantastic innovative idea from Microsoft. It definitely adds replay value to all games. That's why alot of real and hardcore gamers are choosing the 360 for their console of choice. The achievement points gives them a lil gaming "respect"
After all the price cutts and it finally found the sweet spot for sales in North America. Unfortunately the software sales is still lacking and that's what matters most. The 360 doesn't need a price cut yet since it's still selling well. But when it does come, it will be 2007 all over again.
Just another game that completely destroys anything available on the ps3.

Why don sony boys always put up their 2008 lists with no name exclusives like Infamous, Getaway 3??? 8 days, etc... like they are all AAA titles.
If you look at the Sony exclusives for 2007 like Lair, HS, Genji, Untold Legends, Eye of Judgement, NBA 08, Folklore, etc... you can see that Sony's exclusive track record is HORRIBLE. So why is 2008 going to be any different??? The only big games for ps3 I see in 2008 is MGS, maybe FF, and GT. Everything else you name could be CRA...
Yeah that's right. Keep waiting sucka! I been playing AAA titles all this year. Someday you'll get one. Maybe next year.

I'm guessing your talking about Mass Effect which is averaging 92%. If you call that so so than I guess you can call every ps3 game a failure since no ps3 game has reached that high yet.

With Halo being one of the best gaming trilogies of all time, it's pretty common for some "haters" to bash on it. Fact is that this game brought alot of innovation to the table. Games are still trying to copy its style (Haze)

I think your right. Everybody who wanted an Xbox 360 already has one. After selling over 100k a week since the first of September, I think nobody will buy a 360 again. The ps3 will sell around 500k in Nov. and the 360 will sell zero.

I don't know why you sony droids like to use that excuse. The Xbox 360 has competition now from the ps3 and it's still outselling it worldwide by a far margin.
No wonder the 360 is doing horrible in Japan. They want CRAP games! Dynasty Warriors??? That trash looks like a ps1 game. 99 Nights had the same concept but multiplied by 100.
The 360 has been selling over 500k a month since Sept. and with the holidays season it will only grow. I think the ps3 may need another price cut to gain more interest. ;)

Well I'll give you an example on whats happending at the Best Buy near me. They have stacks of ps3's at the theater section NOT at the gaming section. And my buddy has told many customers that were buying a $500 blu ray player to purchase a ps3 and save a $100. The ps3's gaming software sales and bluray sales prove this.
