Wow I just read their Mass Effect review. Well I guess everybody has the right to have a brain fart once in awhile. Mass Effect is my favorite game of all time. Fable: Lost Chapters is my second. Looks like Fable 2 might take second place. Maybe even first. We shall see when I'm done.
Great review. EDGE is pretty harsh with reviews too. They're one of the few sites that I like to read from.

A AAA title is subjective. Everybody has their own preference. But a great definition of a AAA title is a game that over all gets great scores. In other words.... MAJORITY RULES!. 9's and 10's. Games like Gears, Halo 3, Mass Effect, Fable 2, etc... are all considered AAA titles. You can also add how successful a game is to add to the definition.

Anyway, I can't wait to play HORDE mode. If anybody remembers, Unreal 2004 for the PC had something similar and it was a blast to play. I'm going to be playing most of my multiplayer games in Horde. Gears 2 or Left 4 Dead will be fighting out for best multiplayer game of the year. Great times for us 360 owners. :)

Games that I'm interested for 2008 and will have to wait till early next year are Fallout 3, Mirror's Edge, Call of Duty, and Resistance 2. Yes I said Resistance 2.
ultimulo, I was actually referring to pc installs. Pc installs has been around forever. I just find it funny that the ps3 talks about being a step in the future but uses installs from the days of old.

Bottom line is if anybody is in the market for a gaming machine, the 360 is the easy choice. The only reason why somebody would choose the ps3 is because of the bluray player. The 360 has a huge gaming library. Both quantity and quality over the ps3. Xbox Live continuously proves that it's miles ahead of PSN. (Ahem SOCOM) Multiplatform games are still better on the 360 (Ahem Fallout 3) All this and about half the cost of a ps3. Not that hard folks. The bluray player is the ONLY reason...

It's no question that bluray is the main reason why people are purchasing the ps3. Like I said before, the ps3 is a movie player first, a gaming machine second. I hear it all the time at my local Best Buy. Non Gamers buying a ps3 because of its cheap bluray player. A great price for a bluray player but way to expensive for a gaming machine. Especially when you can purchase a 360 at a lower cost and have a better gaming library. It's no surprise that Sony was desperately removing interna...
And this is why "exclusive lists" don't matter. I know Sony fans like to throw around their "huge" list of exclusives but SOCOM is a prime example why those lists are worthless. Yeah the ps3 has exclusives like MGS4 or Uncharted. But they also have Lair, Genji, Eye of Judgement, Haze, etc... And now you can add Motorstorm 2 as a mediocre at best and SOCOM as just a plain flop.
The 360 is a success and the ps3 is a fail. I been saying this all along. Damn I hate being right. :)

All great points. The ps3's price is still way to much especially in this worrisome economy. Add the fact that the 360 is still outperforming the ps3 in almost every way than it's really a no brainer that the 360 is just the better choice for gaming. It's unfortunate to see that Sony was once the best in all electronics but now sits around the middle of the bunch. Samsung LCD's are seen as the best on the market. Cannon has the best cameras. And of course, the 360 is seen as the better ...
