How quickly we forget the dreaded disc error on the ps2. That lil error cost me a good 4 ps2's. But of course, back than we didn't have looney bloggers spreading the news like wildfire like today.
I guess everybody has their own preference. I know people that thinks Lost Odyssey is the best game on the 360. It's pretty tough to think about my top 10 especially since their are so many great games on the 360 but here's my crack at it...

You just have to look at the sales of the 360 with monster hits like Gears 2, Fable 2, and Left 4 Dead. These games are crushing the ps3's holiday gaming library. Much better options on the 360 than this game. Nobody is buying R2 or LBP so I guess they're sticking with an old favorite and that is Tomb Raider.
A few more copies? Uuuuuuum, the 360 version sold millions more! :/
Well not much to play on the ps3, the 360's holiday season is PACKED! This was an easy question.

BINGO! Their is still hope for some intelligence here. The ps2 was notorious for its disc failures but at the time of its release their wasn't zillions of blogs spreading the word like now. I owned 4 ps2's and is the main reason why I buy extended warranties on most of my electronics.
