Simple.We want our games to look better and be capable of better performance. BUT it's not the end all be all. I know this makes concept makes people's heads spin so I'll break it down for ya real simple like. Here I'll detail an experience encountered by me and how a rational person goes about it... and how a brainless resolution griping drone goes about it.

Was just about to post that video as well! But yeah the whole level of secrecy Adam kept it made things a much bigger issue than it had to be. But at the end of the day I can understand why he was so panicked.

Tons of hours of 1080p video? Yeah dude that's gonna fill a LOT of space. A 2 hr BluRay is usually filled about 18gb. And from what I understand the game has probably over 10+ hours of video.

In the past Microsoft has never really bricked a console but the software and tools they have available to them they are most certainly able to do it. In this case, they did in order to prevent him from disclosing information about unfinished software.

He was issued a console ban. This means you can do NOTHING with your Xbox. Not only that but the patch he downloaded isn't even confirmed to be the Day 1 patch.

Ok I'll inform anyone who doesn't actively play on Xbox what's going on with this guy, and why really nothing has changed in terms of DRM policy. Ya see on Xbox their are 2 kinds of bans.

XBL Bans; this basically prevents your XBL account from accessing XBL (for whatever duration).

See when you boil a game past it's presentation they're all boring as hell :) But it's the presentation that matters, if you can't help but look past the presentation then in a few years you'll be bored with games.
