you know Sony wasn't that great also, they had MS trying to push the online service really hard. It worked and now look where PSN is.
Can it happen to a company that will eventually see they need to move up with the times, ya it can.
I think the reason we don't have achievements/trophy is because they didn't want to stress the gamers to do more. But i like the achievements as you get to try and play the game a different way. Like in Mario 3D, gett...
i was at work, just got home... really? jeez
sometimes i feel like they aren't paying attention to what the gaming community is saying online.
something big is cooking at the Kyoto home base.
the MMO i play require this dam AFK or online play to collect ultra promo characters... been playing it since 2007.
I can run the hdmi cable to the large screen and switch between the games but the last time i did that I got banned because the GM thought i was afk and using skills which makes them think i'm botting.. I think just getting a XB1 for that game will work BUT i'll wait for solid reviews. new IP don't want to walk into a hole.
I underst...
what i don't get is the launch game list and window... nothing but a couple of actual retail games worth playing. Indie games are nice but i could never find the same enjoyment on an indie game vs a full retail game like infamous or KZ.
So what's selling the system? hype? I think advertisement and cost because you get a brand new next gen system for.. 100$ more than a current gen system. That's a great thing right there.

Nint...
AE = AdultEntertainment?
well sign me up !
how did you figure this?
wiiu can look almost as shiny as the XB1 and run at a decent FPS, but looks the best compared to the older systems right?
Remember the developer is putting their resources into "other" systems and the wiiu team will take a break or a little rest.
I just hope they have the online play fixed.
@extermin8or
what is the user base for the new systems? It's not the user base the problem, it's more complex than just that.
if you have 5 mil units out there, are you expecting 1/4 of the consumers to buy a multiplat?1.25M... not for a system with so many 1st party titles.
On your topic, Ubi did release an exlusive but what's up with the non online play? the idea was nice but take a hard look at the wiiu games from Ubi and you...
you remember the RE2 port to the N64... god help them with the cartridge.
FMV was beyond crap...
if they would treat their release games like the other systems and give the wiiu DLCs then maybe the people that own multiple systems won't go buying the other versions. The WiiU splintercell BL... omg that is just a fail with no DLC or proper online matchmaking, the biggest foes to any 3rd party is the Miiverse, and if word is out that the game is crap and a lot of negative vibes rolling on there, chances are many on there will say, "I'll pass".
release date?
cryengine on the WiiU??? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOO!!!
lol
a nice, really interesting to see the Lens of Truth report on the 3 way or 5 way analysis.
i'll wait for the general review scores.
i mean if one ends up with generally 5 or 6 and the other with 9s... then maybe one will be a rent and the other a buy.
see, the talent at certain development teams around the world rule all. Some are for general all, some are for mature, some are for family and so on. It just so happens the ones you like are at the Nintendo EAD. But don't forget there are some extremely talented 3rd party companies out there, and they may not be producing high end family fun or general games you like but some more adult oriented games are produced and loved by a large group also.
Loved Mario 3D, took me 5...
you're right, and i think taking some of those 2nd parties under their banner to be 1st parties would help.
actually.. we've seen this before, it's the same back when the previous CEO ran things. If the CEO cannot move on with the times, then you need to get someone that can move the company in a direction that is healthy for the rest of the company and their investors.
Nice guy but in the business world, you need to evolve especially when your company is over 100 years old.
roger that
hmmm?
part 1 was, part 2 will be this year.
