i bought an N64 (ultra64) just for that game. then turok2 just made my day.

you've only pointed out the wii brand and DS/3DS brand life cycle. I believe before those they were pushing for stronger system but there was this big hurdle with system power and bottleneck and Nintendo used to point that out.
