This is by far one the best commented sections I have read in awhile. I started using this site to elicit good gaming debate and far too often its people flaming each other or shamelessly promoting one system or another just to irk people. I am not a "hands across America" kind of guy, but I have renewed faith in N4G.
Granted this was taken from a forum, but the fact that its well written and that the guy's Gamertag is gone is newsworthy. I would rather read this kind of thing than everyday someone comes out of the woodwork screaming that HD-DVD is dead.

I do agree with you saying people like to give the bad news but never enjoy hearing it. I do not agree however that people are whining. I don't want to sound trite, but this is a post specifically to allow people to vent about how Live is pissing them off. That should be allowed. I did expect this but not this bad. Everyone who bought an Xbox 360 game is going to at the very least get the one month free trial. I hoped that they had planned for this contingency, appears not.
I agree that this is by no means breaking news. I figured that maybe people could use the heads up for the holidays. Seems like a lot people appreciated and that was my intent.
