Sony has been pumping money and securing franchises for the PS, way before Microsoft entered the console market... and they continue to do so even now.

This was a smart move by Square and Microsoft. Most people thought Tomb Raider would release a few months later on the PS4, now everybody knows it will be a full year, and that surprised PS4 fanboys (not in a good way). I've seen a lot of bitter comments...

I guess this is a good decision by Square and Microsoft to announce the Tomb Raider PS4 release date so soon. If it's a great game, a lot of people will not want to wait a full year to play the game.

Well, If I don't get a cheap X1 Tomb Raider bundle this Christmas, then I'll just wait for Tomb Raider PC version (early 2016).

Looks like Microsoft is intentionally trying to loose in Europe.
I'm waiting for a TombRaider/X1/1TB bundle for 350€ (or below) at the end of the year. If it's not at that price by then, they can forget my purchase.
My guess is 2018 at the earliest.
