yeah, I don't think the 360 launch games were PS2 ports, makes me wonder it this guy even played them....COD 2 is still awesome, but I do think some of them could have been alot better, I blame the dev's like EA who rushed games like Madden 06, just to make a quick buck. yes, I will agree with that theory....in fact Im willing to bet PS3 games will continue to improve (like games on all consoles)..however we have no idea if it will be a significant enough improvement to say BD (videogames)will be graphically superior to what is available now as your analogy suggests....so far we haven't seen anything from a BD videogame that says WOW! theres no way you can make this game on a stadard DVD, instead its always ooooh look at how much space it can hold. First of all unlike you, I recognize that both M$, Sony and devs all use hype to sell games its marketing, just like TV commercials that why we always have the "new improved" version of the same product but amazingly it doesnt work any better or worse than the old brand...WOW! I've already read the info. that you provided before, but that still does not change the fact that this game uses 22 gigs of space just because they want to show off how many "gigs" BD can hold. They could utilize compression and make the same game using a lot less space and it would be just as good. If Im wrong and they do need all this space to make graphics, level data, and programming code for HD content as suggested, then why doesn't this game blow away the current 360 games ...

Extra content is fine, but I all I care about is the quality of the damm game. Personally Im glad Sony, didn't go with the "boomerang" shaped controller....however I did wish the PS3 controller would have had a new look this time. The good news is that this review says the controls are smoother than the PS2 controls,and overall is better, but I still think they have to get the "shock" back in the controller......now that would be a nice surprise!
Yes I would agree, GOW does not need demo becuase everyone who owns a 360 will buy it....I know I will enjoy this game, but the sad truth is that because of all the attention it will be impossible to live up to all the hype because people will nit pick every aspect and say I wish it did this or I wish they did that, but I digress....I just cant wait for GOW and a few other must have games. (Mass Effect, etc.)

Yes those are some good points, and I think it makes a lot of sense, but either way I still believe the major reason Betamax failed was the quality did not match the price as far as value goes.....anytime the consumer is given a choice of 2 similiar products, the best value always wins the majority.

I played the demo on Live....its not very realistic type of game....but its fast paced and fun as hell to play....I'll pick this one up.
