Yes, I agree that they meant supporting it for 10 yrs, I didn't think about it that way, but that makes sense. DJ, I also agree with you to a degree about needing more data storage for HD content, but why is it so hard to believe thats its not needed for awhile when we already have huge HD games like Oblivion, and potentially by the time we do need them, the next Xbox and maybe PS will be here, also not to beat a dead horse but it wouldn't kill me to change the disc ONE time to play the enti...

OK, first of all I'm a gamer, not a techie or jr programmer, I just play games but, I read alot about videogames so I understand a little about programming and the tech side, but I'm by no means an expert. I know that this game is 22 gigs and counting but from what I understand so far code is very small part of that, so the rest of this is graphics/video, audio, and textures etc. Now obviously all these things are found in the current games we have now, therefore if this game cannot fit on ...

M$ hasn't recieved any love in Japan, I think part of it is Japanese brand loyalty and part is because 360 did not have games that appealed to most of them. Thats a poor excuse.....noboby said they had to blow us away, but it was a games convention so they could have came prepared with a few playable "hot" titles or something that would have created some "positive buzz" heading into TGS when everyone expects them to show off big. Remember its just a little less than 3 months before launch so at this point they should have plenty to show and talk about...TGS is just suppose to be the big event before launch. Awesome pics. Its pretty much a no brainer that AC will be on 360....I want this game, Im wondering though, do they intend to make the color bland on purpose or will the final product have more color?
until then I see no reason why the majority of consumers will stop buying DVD's and switch to an expensive HD format (HD DVD or Blu-ray)that has no significant advantage/benefit as of right now.
