If you think EA won't try to push this game onto every format available to squeeze every last dime out of this title then you haven't been following videogame industry for well uhm, how long? Its EA! Its that simple...at this point Halo3 doesn't need any "hype" to sell....Gears was a great game and all the hype was well deserved, but Halo has built a reputation....like it or love it, its not a mistake that Gamers are drawn to this game, if it wasn't any good then the "Halo Hype" would fade and it wouldn't STILL be the most anticipated game of the year, hands down -you can disagree, but thats denial speaking because the evidence shows otherwise.

Yeah you're right....most likely throughout this generation I'm sure developers will find ways to take advantage of Blu-ray and put in some extra content or polish certain aspects of a multiplatform game....that makes alot of sense, they would be silly not to, if I was a dev I think I would have to at least be excited about having the "extra" space on 1 disc vs. a regular DVD, -does that mean that I will all of a sudden make these "huge" games with hrs and hrs of more game...

Be Careful Leon....you're starting to sound like DJ telling us not to believe what we see with our own eyes. First of all Oblivion's draw distances are "suppose" to be better because the PS3 version is being re-done(a year later)....I hope so.
Second Gears and Lost Planet look awesome and have many enemies on screen at once and runs fine....so there goes that BS.

I haven't seen much of the movie, but what I have seen so far looks very good. Of course some things have changed (Bumble Bee should be a f-king Beetle) but I saw a interview from the director (I think) and he gave some very good reason's why they had to make some changes, probably the most important reason is that some things just make more sense because things have changed alot since the time we grew up watching the cartoon.

Its news about the Wii and PS3....so personally I don't like the pic on this article since it implies that this news is about the 360 too. I think Reg does have a point that PS3 is expensive, *BUT I think if you are a gamer who also wants to get into HD movies at this stage, then the fact that PS3 has Blu-ray built in definitely makes it a great value for the money. I do agree with Maddens Raiders somewhat about the Wii itself, because like I've said before it's just not what most gamers wan...

Its not hate....if we are going to discuss the topic, then its still a valid point to state the TRUTH that Sony initially said the CGI footage was in-game, then later said it was only a "target video", and now they are saying it looks as good as the CGI, but its been 2 yrs and they haven't shown squat....just talk. It's not like we're making this stuff up, hell just google the topic and you will find all kinds of articles questioning why Sony hasn't shown anything since the E3 Kill...
I disagree because I think Killzone has been "MIA" in a sense, and of course the whole "CGI" bit has recieved alot of negative press.....at this point by now they should have at least some impressive "ingame" footage to show the world that Killzone will be at least close to what Sony claimed....it doesn't or probably won't ever look like the CGI...I think both consoles still have awhile before we see stuff like that, hell ingame of Crysis is very, very close but ...
