yeah, it seems alot of people are quick to label this a April fools joke.....honestly I'm not sure, but even if this story turns out tommorrow to be false.....its still quite possible it could go to the 360 in the future. -I hope Kojima or Konami will give a difinitive statement soon, I think if they were to just say MGS4 will only be on PS3, point blank, then that should be enough so we can put this rumor to rest.

yeah....this is really silly because Major Nelson is not independent, if he really does listen to his podcasts he does complain or question some things that M$ does, but its a NO BRAINER that he's heavily biased(a fanboy) and at the end of the day he works for M$ so of course its in his best interest to hype the 360. -Wow, and Threespeech.com is really "semi-official." -lol Next the headline will be:

yeah I tried to just add some perspective to the situation in my #32 post but it seems like "some" fans of one console can't accept anything but "doom" for the other. I think if you look at this site it is a good example of how polls can be good and bad. I think its fair to say that most of the people on this site are either hardcore fans or early adopters (videogame junkies) which means that most of us brought a launch 360, which is precisely where 90% of the failed 360's came from. I was never into GTA but eventually I bought San Andreas....it was OK, but I still never really liked GTA, I actually liked the comic type "sand box" games like Spiderman and the Incredible Hulk:UD alot better. I guess thats why I bought Crackdown instead of Saints Row...but I think I will at least give GTAIV another try just to see if it really is as good as everyone claims.

Whenever you look solely at numbers you have to be careful about making claims because most of the time those numbers depend on your perspective for example;
These sales numbers are definitely a positive sign compared to both 360 and Wii sales, but at the same time you do have to at least acknokledge there was a clear difference in supply......I said the same thing when 360 outsold the Wii over Christmas in the US.

I can understand if you have a big screen 1080p HDTV and you already own a 360 then it would make sense if you feel a little cheated because now the Elite offers HDMI which is needed to watch HD movies in full 1080p, if thats really important to you in that case yes then would have to buy the Elite(for HDMI)....but this really doesn't change much for gaming, or the games you will be able to play. Gears took me about 10 hrs to complete on the insane mode(after I beat it on the other 2 modes), the gameplay is kick@ss and the game is very, very good online but I will agree the campaign mode is a little short.....Resistance with all that content is still only 10 to 12 hrs so I don't know why people are acting like 8-10 hrs for Gears campaign is the end of the world (only the haters), yes it should have been longer....but its a SHOOTER, not a RPG, and the replay value of shooters these day...
You don't have to worry about accidentally losing your data on the 20 gig HDD since everything is stored in your Gamertag, but this does piss me off because I think you should still be able to use the 20 gig, so its a shame that you can't have both. nah, EA is huge, M$ might have the money but I doubt they are willing to spend that much on EA, I do agree that no matter what they say about EA it does have a "commanding" influence in the industry but I don't think they are interested in selling....more like buying other studios. 360 had an almost simultaneous worldwide launch, Sony delayed.....and released with plenty of units unlike M$ and Wii....Sony had ample consoles available....Good job Sony. -I would be more concerned how they do over the next 6 months....if it turns out like Japan and the U.S. because so far the Wii has proven to have the higher demand.
