That's exactly what it is, it's a tech/engine/game demo. They played this up to be almost a full-fledged game untill just recently. They should've just squashed that right off the bat instead of getting people hyped.
Seriously though, it's retarded how many sales they get every year. The developers themselves could say "This game is shit, I'm embarrassed I spent so much time on this, I'm sorry", and people would still be eating it up. I doesn't matter what happens, it's gonna sell MILLIONS of copies. It boggles my mind..
Of course they're not gonna try to change it too much, it's a winning formula for them. All they gotta do is sit back and make money...

I've tried it and they can't be reasoned with. I think they like having one bubble because they can just spew nonsense and not be held accountable. They never have anything to actually say back in reply, they just make stuff up as they go along.

The evolution of gaming is definitely awesome right now, I won't argue with that. If they wanna include multiplayer I want it to be because they wanted it though, not because people were bitching and complaining that it didn't have it. I'd rather them dump all their time and resources into the game they want to make, be that single player, multiplayer, or both.

It was in a weird resolution because it was cropped on the top and bottom, like cinematic letterboxing. 1080, but with some of the vertical pixels shaved off, same resolution though

This game has nothing to do with Gears, you do realise that TPS with cover mechanics were around before that game right? I'm not bashing on you or anything, but that just seems like an odd comparison to me, kinda like how everybody was just lumping Infamous and Titanfall recently. Totally different things.

I just remembered hearing about this game last year during the THQ bankruptcy thing. I was paying attention 'cause I wanted to see what would happen to the Kingdom of Amalur IP, unfortunately it turns out nothing happened with that.
Take-Two did outbid Turtle Rock for this Evolve IP though, not sure what that means but at least the game's still being made, so that's a good thing.

Couldn't agree more, I mean c'mon journalists get to see it on a big screen in person and we're stuck waiting for any little snippet they toss our way. It's not like we're gonna get to see the whole 40 minute presentation, it's gonna be like a 3-5 minute clip. It hardly seems fair since we're the one that pay for it, journalists get free review copies of the game already as it is.
