The biggest complaint was that there is no cross game messaging which has now been taken care of. Trophies have been added and will be noticeable in months time after more games get released. finished GTA4. I was never a real big fan of the series, but I got caught up in all the hyperbole. There's no real point in me turning it in right now though. Not really any games I want until October.
On track ... I've been curious about this game for a while. I can't wait for E3. Hopefully we get blasted with info about a lot of games that are still shadowed in secrecy.
That's what I'm saying man. What's left in the realm of MGS to make a game about. Nothing after the game would really work. MGS3 served as a prequel to the previous games. The only real blank spot left would be the time spent between two and four.
loves the series and the game. It's one of the few games that I get to play with her. On top of that, the last one was fun as hell and, ended on a cliff hanger. They're already focusing on new IP's RFOM and RFOM2 are both new and something totally different than they've done.
I personally can't wait for this. I hope it is an extension of TOD though.

It's cool that I get to message people from different games now, but I was really hoping for something a little bit better as far as custom soundtracks are concerned. I mean ... if the developer has to implement it, what has really changed with the update? Burnout has had custom soundtracks for a while because of the developer.

I'm fine with installs. This is excessive though. 9 gig to play a fighting game. No thanks. I'm a PS3 owner and I'm not stoked. Even if I have the extra space.
if MGS4 needs less space for both the data and the save, this game has no excuse.
been MGS then. I know it's all personal preference, but this is what the game is known for. On top of that, its the final game which ties off all the loose ends.
I agree that some of the scenes needed to be edited down some, others with the B&B corps could have been edited out entirely. For the most part though, I enjoyed every cut scenes that I saw. Some of those cutscenes were beyond epic.
Yes and no. I don't think you can tell the story of MGS with short cutscenes. There's just tooo much going on as far as plot is concerned.
Honestly ... the only cutscenes that I felt dragged was the last one. Even then its forgiven since there's so many ends that are being tied up.
Kojima needs to work on editing some of the useless stuff better (IE moaning beaties), but ultimately, a lot of people could learn a lot from the game. The cutscenes that didn't fall into ...
I was just going to say the same thing. Until the PS3 can figure out how to build a better battery or some other alternative fuel source, I don't really care. I just want to play games and watch movies on it.
Seriously though ... someone needs to figure out how to make a car that runs 100 miles to the gallon.
probably my favorite puzzle game that I've played. Its funny because people either get it or they don't. If you can't think spatially, then this game might not be for you.

come to. Honestly, this game is sooo awesome, I hope it comes to the freaking Wii as well. I loved getting to play Diablo 1 on PS1. It's what got me into the series. I ended out playing Diablo 2 on PC (which I never do) because of it. It would be sweet to play Diablo 3 on any console.
been able to stream music for a while now. It doesn't work all to well. There really isn't a fast forward or rewind function when using it. It's there, it just doesn't work. Streaming video is almost useless.
though, there's no 4 player co-op. The game just keeps getting more and more gimped as we learn about it.
