They are interested on the negatives of gaming like micro transactions, pay walls and games as a service.
Their goal are not the single player games or exclusive games. They are interested on a media machine and the spreading of their operating system Window.
But the price will be justified for the following reasons:
1. Capable hardware.
2. PS4 successful list of exclusive games being upgraded.
3. VR and mixed reality.
4. A well established base of exclusive developers.
5. Sequels of legendary games such as Horizon Zero 2.
6. Remakes of great games.
This will be better than the PS4 in every single way and the PS4 was/is simply amazing.

I never played GoW before but I watched the videos of the first three builds.
This seems to be a more mature product of the series with a great script dialogue and development. I got interested in it due to the Morse mythology and the duet gameplay of two characters. It's an interesting idea to have a switch or programmed switch between characters. Makes the game play worthwhile and adds more replay value.
