Sweet Tooth.
I can't quite work out who should be insulted by the terrorists/Jihad/heaven/Katy Perry quote.
Probably everyone.
Next thing you know, they'll be charging a premium for Reach...
I've never understood why Microsoft doesn't offer bonuses or rewards for loyal users. DLC doesn't cost anything but is a great way of rewarding people. It could also be linked to Gamerscore, giving people even more reason to buy more games. Wouldn't that be good business?
Okay, just remembered that the jumping thing was why I stopped playing Halo 3 in the first place.
Now, if only Bungie would take out the jumping in Halo multiplayer, we'd have a real winner on our hands.
I'm sick of Call Of Duty multiplayer, bring on the Halo!
I actually loved Eddie Gordo. Just because using him was the only way I could beat someone at Tekken. And he HATED it.
Turns out that the issue here is the Air Force sending broken PS3s back to Sony for refurbishment, and Sony is fixing them and updating the OS to the latest version, thus making them unusable as a Linux server. Here's a link:

I think it's more a problem if the PS3s break and the military has to replace them. Check this:

Looks like the PS3s aren't online (why would they be?) so they aren't forced to update the firmware but if the Air Force needs to replace one of their chips, they can't.
Fable was short for an RPG, especially compared to the likes of Kotor and Jade Empire – the two RPGs it was compared to on Xbox.
Completed it in a little over six hours, reckon you could get that right down with a bit of practice.
But I suppose the point of Mirror's Edge is to flow quickly through the game.
Whatever, we need a sequel.
$100 million is GTA IV-type money. For that you'd expect a GTA IV-style game and GTA IV-style revenues. And to risk all that money on a new IP? Who on earth made that decision?
If only APB had this amount of publicity before it was released... Maybe they would have sold copies and wouldn't have suffered the closure.
I just like the idea of: '1,700 PS3s linked together to make a terrifying hive mind, brooding on god-knows-what sinister predictions, calculations or simulations'.
Especially if they gave it eyes.
Agreed – piracy exists for a reason and not just because people want free games. I think that embracing people's needs will go part way to easing the problem. Valve's attitude is an example to all.
Would BioWare really be happy to release a sub-par version (ie bad graphics) of its flagship RPG on PS3? No.
As for the install thing - well, any self-respecting 360 owner would have installed on their hard drive anyway for noise reasons (I know I did). Anyway, a single Blu-ray makes up for this.
And about coming into the story half-way? Well, that's a shame. It's kind of like seeing Empire Strikes Back without seeing Star Wars first. No 'previous...
You'd think that with Xbox's creative director being European they'd have something more for Europe.
Windows 7 Phone just doesn't cut it.
Zing.
I think that news story has been corrected now.
"Twit": a word that is sadly neglected these days. And yes, I agree, Clifford B is one.
