the biggest offense is the 240p screen in this day and age, and at that price.
the battle system, even though its lacking control, is the best and most technical battle system in the series.

from a gameplay perspective, souls ripped off WotS. stamina management, weapon durability and even NPCs and towns.
to be fair, souls games have copied way of the samurai.
