The only reason I got a console is to avoid upgrading and downloading drivers for graphics cards, RAM, processors, whatever. I don't have a powerful PC because I refuse to keep throwing money at my PC to newer games. I also like consoles because I get to lie on my couch and use my TV.

If movies are put on RDM, I can see RDM replacing Blu-ray much faster than Blu-ray replacing DVD. RDM's lasers are inexpensive which is the biggest selling point. Most casuals refuse to switch to Blu-ray unless they bought a PS3.

Streaming technology will be a suitable option soon... HD streaming is coming soon, it's in Netflix and Sony is making TVs with streaming capabilities soon. The quality may differ but it's great quality, just not Blu-ray quality.
Most casuals really don't look for the absolute best but they're looking for cost efficient and quality. HD Netflix is the cost of Live subscription (could be a month's Live which is sometimes under 5 dollars at some retail shops) and the $8 Netflix subs...

Do your self a favor and play Fable II first, it's phenomenal. I played about 27 hours in the first week. I beat the main story line in 18 hours more or less. I heard Fallout 3 lasts around 8 hours and it has a pretty weak sauce ending. But there's 499 other endings right?
Mass Effect started on the 360 and PC and it'll end Mass Effect 3 on the 360 and PC. The PC game might be taken out possibly because now Microsoft doesn't like having their exclusives not exclusive to the 360.

It's spelt Bungie, and I don't know where to start. First off, Halo 3 is no fail, by any means. It's high in reviews, VERY HIGH in sales, it's VERY HIGH on the Xbox Live most played list. It has about 230 000 people playing everyday. I'll list off some innovations and some other bits in there why Bungie is nowhere close to fail.
