The difference is: Sony didn't hype this Blu-ray player to abysmal status.

Lies!

We don't have 200+ pound people walking around Wal-mart or Target. We don't even have a Target in Canada. I went to Target and I thought the fat America thing was all a lie until I went.

Also, we don't take pictures of your Niagara Falls while you take pictures of ours! A-HA!

Our economy didn't go to as deep of sh*t as yours.
Our maple syrup tastes better than any of your syrup you try and make.
Our hockey teams are better than yours. ...

Yeah, I agree Grammar, and thanks for the wishes.

Another big reason why I didn't buy into the Blu-ray and PS3 thing is the overhyped features and graphics of both. None of them make a big enough difference to warrant the extra $80+ (could be $170 in the PS3s case).

I kind of take that back, Blu-ray makes a difference, PS3 doesn't. I still wouldn't buy them based on hype when they cost significantly more. I'm getting the Blu-ray player on Christmas, if it doesn't liv...

And I say it once more for emphasis: FANBOYYYYYYYY!

Look, Banjo evolved away from it's platforming roots which wasn't necessarily a good move but it wasn't a bad move either. The fans can't like it and the casuals do like it.

Banjo did not copy Ratchet & Clank, with that reasoning, Resistance 2, Killzone 2, and any other console FPS copied Halo because Halo was one of the first console FPSes

Ratchet & Clank doesn't emphasize at all on vehicles, i...

If only if Viva Pinata didn't need you to get your girlfriend to come with you to buy it than it'd be a even greater game. I cannot feel a little embarrassed buying Viva Pinata but the game itself is the sh*t. It's even more awesome when your girlfriend actually likes playing it with you which gives the co-op a reason.

Lol, in the IGN UK review, they didn't really go that deep into specifics, look at the closing comments.

From the demo, this is what I can tell you, this is how I rate my stuff.

I loved the old fashion style of Banjo, the music, the feel, everything +3
I loved the graphics +3
I loved the characters and humor +2
I loved building vehicles +2
I love the value of the package, how big the game is, the price +3

Which totals it up to 14/1...

Now people, this is a reasonable price to buy a BR player. I've hated the $200+ price before, this is now a perfect Christmas present.

Though I still have a negative disposition due to the thousands of asshole PS3 fanboys worshipping it like it's their religion. I hate you all and I want to drive a nail through your eyes with my thumb. This is partially also why I don't want or like the PS3, that and the ridiculous price for a machine that doesn't make the 360 look like roadkill ...

LBP isn't as big as everyone thinks it was in Japan, this is why you don't speak for a demographic when you're not part of the demographic... You come off very wrong and somewhat racist.

I can say "I bet the Japanese would love these quirky crazy games like LBP"

and than I can say "I bet the African Americans would love these shooting, driving games like GTA IV."

Both are stereotypical and somewhat racist and probably wrong. Though it...

I'm surprised that 38 000 people bought the 360 version of GTA IV... I didn't even think there would be 38 000 people that had 360s in Japan, I was so sure that it was dead in the water in Japan with some surges of life in a last few months.

Your analogy actually really fails to grasp what's being said here. You also missed a part in his little comparison.

"20GB + 3 months of LIVE: $29.99"

There is a hdd, there is Live. No wifi, but some people don't have wireless routers but it's still nice to have.

Well for one, there's the crank handle mulcher, the flamethrower, the shield, the giant ass pistol, the mortars, the grenades that stick to walls, the torque bow.

Guns are guns, but the Lancer has a chainsaw on the end of it which means Lancer > Guns. :)

Laughter achieved? None.
Douchebag achieved? Oh yeah.

GTFO if you're going to joke around with a dead kid.

I'm sorry I misinterpreted your comment, but it came off as fanboyish comment due to you being the Open Zone, you having a Playstation avatar, and you saying something about the Xbox in the Open Zone. It's just too many factors pointing to fanboyism, and you weren't very clear.

The investigation is ongoing and the information and story is still developing, don't count on getting all the details within 24 hours or so. They found him this morning close to 12:40PM EST.

But here's a question dachiefman,

Who didn't inform the parents of what's in the games? The storeclerks
Who informed the storeclerks to inform parents? The ESRB and the store's management

But here's some more

Who's fault is it that they weren't informed on addiction to games? The parents
Who's fault is it that the kid wasn't disciplined hard enough? The parents
Who should have known better at the age of 15? The kid.

It's ev...

This is one of the hugest spins on a news title ever. It's not that he doesn't understand it, it's just that it's not his particular cup of tea. He's already known to like shooting games, let him make games about that and let him think what he wants.

You can't penalize him as a bad developer for doing he does best and being interested into things he likes making/playing: shooting games. He's great at making shooting games and coming up with ideas for it, he's pretty ambitious as...

In Cananda, it's rated by the ESRB which means it's rated M for Mature, ages 17+.

There's no way the shops would let this slide by them at a cash register, you need proof of ID no matter how old you look. They also tell the parents what's on the back of the box at most stores.

Blockbuster doesn't though... I think it should be inforced a little harder than it is now, imagined if kids were allowed to see movies like Scarface and other rated R movies. Really at this da...

Exactly Jenzo, though I don't really agree on hitting, I must admit, you must do what you have to do to discipline your kids to stop them from lashing out and doing unacceptable things.

When I was young, my parents used to show me examples from the news to teach me, or if I did something unacceptable, they'd yell followed by explanation. If I ever did refuse to listen, they'd hit me on the hand or something.

Things like this scare my girlfriend and I...

On October 13th, I heard about the news. The kid got in an argument with his father and he threatened to leave after his father took away his Xbox 360. The boy has been known to run away over 20 times before, and he's always come back within 2 days or so. They stopped looking for him on October 29th, some people as far as my city, London, Ontario went looking for this kid.

His father called his bluff on this one and actually help him pack his knapsack and let him run away, thinki...
