i love what microsoft is doing right now...its refreshing...i think its perfectly fine for all companies to get along and help each other. creating a better gaming industry benefits all of us. once narratives like exclusives releasing elsewhere after a while becomes a norm imagine the possibilities. marvel vs capcom and smash bros and project x zone and many other games are examples of how great one off experiences could be when everyone is working together.
this looks like a remodeled gamepad controller which im ok with. the tech they are using could be very interesting. nintendo would never go full touchscreen so i know buttons are going to be there im just curious about how comfortable a screen taking up all the surface area of the controller would be. i can see my thumbs getting in the way but as for now im interested.
nintendo must work to understand the western market. the world follows western treands and thats where the money is. most of nintendos "issues" stem from this. simply making a powerful hardware wont solve anything because todays buyers are brand loyal. doesnt matter what product is better what matters is what product dominates word of mouth.
also ive said this before but digital foundrys existence alone brings no value to the gaming industry. what good could come from a company benchmarking games. we are consumers not suits but todays gamers seem to think they are more than fans. trash journalism and trash fandom...one begets the other...the cycle cycles
the journalist are marks...having a person review lets say a nintendo game when he or she is subjected to the same media brainwashing as everyone else means before the game is even played there is a predetermined feeling towards it. add that with the petty nitpicking that doesnt make enough of difference (like resolution) from game to game the whole thing is flawed. the journalist wants to be the star instead of letting the game garner the attention.
this was a weak year for games from nintendo but in the end it doesnt matter. we got a good first half of 2016 coming.

yeah i agree. i want more females characters and villains. none of us is sure what they will reveal on the dec smash broadcast but im willing to bet there will be some smash character released for star fox and if i had to bet on what would be easiest and quickest it would be wolf. id rather have krystal though
i think they mean the last smash specific broadcast...theres no way a wolf announcement wont come around the time star fox releases in april also i think the smash ballot closed in october...no way they have 1 or 2 characters from the ballot finished in 2 months...this might be the last smash only special but im sure smash will be part nintendo directs atleast up until late spring of next year
nintendo is fine...i think every console could be better in some way or another but overall if nintendo decides to continue to focus on bringing unique all inclusive experiences to the industry id be ok with that.

honestly those numbers are very doable. if you consider how many people own tablets and mobile devices and those that buy nintendo consoles they can get to 100 million easy. we know the consoles will have my nintendo but it depends on how they handle the tablet and mobile games. someone above mentioned them requiring people to make an account when they download a nintendo game via tablet or cellphone. sounds plausible to me.

i disagree...nintendo being kid friendly isnt an issue in fact every console is kid friendly.this is a common misconception in modern gaming and part of why nintendo is perceived the way they are. ive said this on another article but its true. nintendo is a victim of marketing that sony and MS levied against them when they were dominating with the wii. its like how Apple has a strong hold on the cellphone industry because people think owning an iphone makes you better than android and windows...
youre viewing it from the perspective of sony being a major player in the industry. in hindsight sure 64 took a backseat to ps1 but at the time sony was the new kid on the block and lets not forget how the 64 controller changed things forever.
