The writer of the article needs to watch the Korean Starcraft Tournaments! Using Xbox Live and over regular internet with battle.net is never going to happen.
Plus Microsoft isn't going to be able to charge for the use of battle.net over their system.
Beating a mouse and keyboard yeah right!
The numbers for World of Warcraft are very nice on each launch day even for expansion packs...
Finally they are hopefully bringing them to the States! I've been playing them for months now but they were downloaded from the Japanese PSN.
So we can't wear dresses or skirts
I can't have a coffee table between me and the camera
I can't sit down
What else do they want to add to the list?
If I remember correctly this content will be free and on the disc like Red Dead and the other EA games coming out this year.
I find it sad that in the United States Red Dead makes the top of the charts but in Japan virtual mating games are on the top of the list. Also the majority of players buying these kinds of games are not adolescent males they 20-30 group more than anything else.
I downloaded the Gears of War characters too, they did a great job.
Gaming was simpler back than...
Now it's 3D, HD, lossless audio, digital download, minis, retail disc, special editions, standard editions, exclusive content to consoles, exclusive content to retailers, motion controller, hands free gaming, party chat, 256 multi-player, player generated content, MMORPG, MMO Shooters, 4X strategy games, open worlds, and god mode gaming.
I still love the present with all its complexity.
Coming out of E3 is nice, 3DS introduces that level of gaming to the casual and hardcore audience and gets them used to 3D gaming.
Than when they want to play HD games on the TV they can play them on the PS3. Currently 3D TVs are cheaper with the glasses than the glassless 3D TVs by a couple of grand.
Helping each other by improving the industry in full circle Sony is help pushing acceptance of 3DS at the same time.
I got PSN+
I've been drinking Xbox Gold Kool-aid for awhile so I was like why not for the PS3's also.
I already made back $31 in content just from this month alone.
The games for OnLive have an expiration date also, like two years and the game goes back into the bin for repurchase.
@dchalfont
Let Garnett grow up first and than have a conversation with that person since gamers that have been playing since Atari has seen much much more.
@Garnett

Man you are making me look bad, I only have 6 Plats out of 907 trophies total... :(
@Presto717
Sony doesn't announce price cuts until GamersCon, they do announce pricing for new products at E3.
That is just the history of how they do things for the past 10 years.
@Comet
The first PSP was a phone when you could use Skype on it, it worked on the battlefields of Iraq and wi-fi rich Europe.
@SOAD
Dead Space Extraction on Dead Space 2 is like Dante Inferno Limited / Collector's Edition on the PS3. Basically there is only one version of the game coming out on the PS3 and that game has more content that the other console version did.
Who said you couldn't get porn on the PS3?
This article has failed to pay attention the media abilities of the PS3 in general.
At $119, the camera would be sold at a lost, not only in producing the thing. Including the cost of the marketing the lost would be even bigger...
This includes the cost of buying the company that produced the technology so that Microsoft use the patents. $149.99 is great for the product but bad for the consumer...
With the United States only having 30 percent on broadband than the next console being download only is not happening. According to the FCC DSL wouldn't even be considered broadband, AT&T U-Verse, me included are not on broadband.
I used to be on Comcast, but since the price of that bandwidth is crazy compared to European (U.K., France) and Asian countries (Japan, S. Korea) we are behind the ball curve.
Plus a majority of console players play their g...
